Please allow one week for delivery - we carry little stock of roasted coffee, to maximise freshness, so shipment depends on our roast schedule (once or twice per week) and the mail (B-Post takes two days within Switzerland).

Tea

  • CHARLIE GREY is a loose-leaf organic Earl Grey tea. Fresh, natural bergamot oil from certified organic cultivation is combined with fully-fermented organic black tea from Vietnam. The combination of the spicy flavour of the tea and the fruity note of the bergamot means that the tea can be consumed with or without milk.

    This distinctive beverage is named after Charles, the second Earl Grey, who was Prime Minister of the UK from 1830 to 1834.

    Brewing recommendation: use 1-2 tsp tea per 0.3 litres boiling water, brew for 3 minutes.

  • RASPBERRY BERET is a loose-leaf organic fruit tea. A delicious red fruit combination with strong berry notes, this tea contains raspberry pieces, hibiscus blossoms, apple pieces, rosehip peel, natural flavour and blackberry leaves. This tea does not contain caffeine.

    Raspberry Beret can be served hot or on ice.

    Use 2 tsp tea per 0.3 litres boiling water, brew for 5-8 minutes.

  • CHEEKY CHAI is a loose-leaf organic chai. Based on the traditional Indian Masala Chai, this blend combines black tea with cinnamon, fennel, ginger, cloves and aniseed. All these components are certified Organic.

    We recommend that you heat a mixture of Cheeky Chai, water, milk and sugar in a pan (per person: 2 tsp Cheeky Chai, 200ml water, 40ml milk, sugar to taste). Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes, then strain and serve a delicious warming drink.

  • BREAKFAST CLUB is a loose-leaf organic Assam tea. This black tea gives a dark brown cup with spicy, malty notes and can be consumed with or without milk (though we recommend you add milk for a true ‘English’ taste!).

  • HISHIKUI RYOKUCHA ヒシクイ 緑茶 is a loose-leaf organic green tea cultivated in Japan. This tea is grown by the Hayashi family, not far from the Pacific coast of Japan in Mie Prefecture. The family picks its special springtime Bancha about two weeks after the first harvest. The leaves are air-dried overnight and are steamed, rolled and dried the following day.

    The tea has a typically strong Bancha taste but with fresh, floral notes. It is low in caffeine but has a high antioxidant content and is thought to offer a number of health benefits.

    Use 1 teaspoon tea per 0.2 litres hot water (75-85°C), brew for 80 seconds. The still-warm leaves can be infused again, giving up to 5 infusions of 20 seconds each.

  • CEDERBERG is a loose-leaf organic Rooibos tea. It only grows in and around the Cederberg Mountains in the Cape region of South Africa.

    It is said that this tea can help strengthen the immune system.

    CEDERBERG is an excellent slightly alkaline drink with a mild, pleasant and full-bodied taste. This tea does not contain caffeine and can be enjoyed hot or on ice.

    Use 1-2 tsp tea to 0.3 litres of boiling water and leave to brew for 5-8 minutes.

    All agricultural ingredients result from controlled organic cultivation.
